Romspace The Romanian Space Café initiative aims to create an environment in which to make connections, share information, and have fun in a professional environment at the crossroads of space and business. We are working to support start-ups and scale-ups to grow and participate in the new exciting field of space entrepreneurship so that more people can participate in, benefit from, and understand space.

We encourage you to come to our events, explore your business ideas, get connected with like-minded individuals, and to find tools that might contribute to your progress.

The InnORBIT project is set on empowering innovation intermediaries with practical and easily replicable solutions to set-up and run sustainable local initiatives. These initiatives aim to accelerate the growth of entrepreneurs, start-ups and scale-ups and the development and rollout of their space-enabled solutions be it in space or not in ecosystems with great potential for contributing the commercialisation of space.

Our first edition explores the Romanian Space Ecosystem and opportunities. What exactly is the space ecosystem and who are the main actors? Our invited guest is Claudiu Tănăselia - Physicist, senior researcher at Research Institute for Analytical Instrumentation (ICIA) Cluj-Napoca, founder of parsec.ro website and space editor for Știință&Tehnică magazine; mass spectrometry specialist, space activities enthusiast and meteorite collector.

The event will be held online, please Register here, the event will have a duration of approximately one hour and a half. We will first start by introducing the Romanian Ecosystem, followed by a short introduction to InnORBIT and then we will open the floor for discussions or questions.
