About us

  • Project Background
    • The foldable flying wing high altitude UAV is based on previous flying wing UAV developments undertaken for the past 20 years by the team. The flying wing is using proprietary airfoils allowing excellent flight capabilities on the entire altitude range (35 km to ground level).
  • Mission and Vision
    • Our mission is to push the boundaries of atmospheric data collection and our vision is to lead in UAV technology. The foldable flying wing UAV allows for the implementation of a wide range of experiments providing the unique capability of controlled return of payloads from high altitude to a specified landing location. This minimizes the recovery costs and expands the range of experiments that can be undertaken onboard.

Technical Details

    • The foldable flying wing UAV has an electrical actuated folding mechanism, a wingspan of 1.4 m and a payload capacity of 3 kg (max volume 3 liters)
    • The maximum operational altitude is 35 km, the maximum gliding speed is 250-300 m/s at high altitude (H>15 km) and 25-35 m/s at lower altitudes (H<5 km)
